Our first stop for our second day was at the Hogle Zoo. I love taking kids to the zoo they get SO excited about everything they see. We saw a really cool bird show where the birds fly right over your head, Lizzy and Jaxon LOVED it! We also got to see a new baby giraffe, and baby tigers too.

We then headed off to the aquarium. This was our first time going here and it was AWESOME! You first walk into a hall that is all dark and there are glowing jellyfish all over the walls swimming around. They have every type of fish you can think of from nemos (the only name Lizzy will accept for this fish) to stingrays. They had an area where you could reach in and pet the manta rays, it scared the kids but Steve and I loved it, it reminded us of our cruise we took to the Bahamas and got to feed, pet and swim with a ton of manta rays (after Panda and I had a little bit of a freak out we had fun those things were HUGE...aaahh good times) . There was also a really cool shark tank, Lizzy and Jaxon stood at this one for awhile because it was awesome to see the shark at the back of the tank and have it slowly swim right at you. If you haven't been to an aquarium like this you should go, they are sweet!

Our last and final stop was at the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point. These are the biggest dinosaur replicas I have ever seen! They had not only the dinosaurs on land but the dinosaurs from the sea also, it was freaky to see how big these things were living in the water and makes you wonder how many more HUGE things like that are still swimming around out there. CREEPY! They had a fun area where there was water running through tons of sand with dinosaurs in the sand so you could create your own rivers and dams. Jaxon LOOOOVVEEDDD it! It took some convincing to move onto the next room which was digging in dry sand to find dinosaur bones. Once he realized this he wasn't so sad about leaving the mud.
