BEST GAME EVER!!!

Steve and I went to the SWEETEST game EVER last night. Thanks to Steve's work we got tickets to the Jazz vs. Cavaliers game and it was so crazy! If you didn't see the game you don't know what I'm talking about but if you did see it you know exactly what I'm talking about. It was just one of those games where everyone is so excited that everyone starts high fiving everyone around them. Such a rush to be there! I'm even a bigger Jazz fan now!
Power to the rookies!!

Halloween Day....

Steve loves to have the kids come to work on Halloween since Halloween was on a Saturday this year we just came a day early. There aren't tons of kids that come into the office so when they went through their bags were FULL of candy. They were given hand fulls of candy. That is really all the trick-or-treating we need and they are set.

On Halloween we took our last trip to Lagoon for the year with some cousins. The picture of the gargoyle is actually a life size gargoyle and every so often it would wake up and growl. But what we didn't know is that there is really a man hiding in that suit and he jumps off and will chase people. We kept the kids back far enough that they didn't get too scared. Lizzy favorite thing was going and watching the monsters sing and dance.

Finally we got some trick-or-treating in and the first stop was Papa and B-mas. They love Papa and B-ma and were super excited to show them their costumes. For Jaxon this was a long day and he kept falling asleep in the car between activities. Such a handsome boy.
(After this I dropped my camera...I know just about cried...so this is all I got of Halloween)

Pre-Halloween Parties.

Every year the Young Women and Young Men put together a Halloween carnival for the Primary kids. Since Jake and Brandy were going to our ward for awhile we had them come and join us. It was SO crowded, I think everyone in the ward was there. It was crazy but the kids had fun.

Lizzy had her first Halloween party at school and she was SUPER excited. I had to get tons of pictures of her makeup because she insisted that she do it. I did have to do a little bit of clean up after she was done but she wouldn't let me do much. She was just happy that I was letting her put makeup on. Lizzy has the best Pre-school teacher Mrs. Laurie. She is so much fun and Lizzy just lights up whenever she see her. The other two girls in the pictures are some of Lizzy's friends. Taciana (Jasmine) and Kenzie (Witch) are some of her closest friends at school.

Back to Fall...

Every year Steve and I have a tradition of going to Pack's Pumpkin patch and picking out our pumpkins. Last year the Baileys joined us and this year the Baileys and Jake and Brandy joined us. So it was a party! Steve and I got there early so we took the kids through the corn maze they have there. They had a ton of fun running through the cornstalks. Steve would go and hide around one of the corners and then jump out and chase them. They loved it! For those of you who know our Lizzy she can run for hours without getting tired. So as you can tell from the pictures, the only pictures I have of her are of her running. Jaxon on the other hand would stop and let me get pictures of him.

Once everyone was there we headed out for our pumpkins. Since we had already been once before with Papa and B-ma we only picked out a couple small ones. Doesn't Paiger Daiger make the cutest little devil?

After the pumpkin picking we went up to Papa and B-ma's house to carve them. It was a really nice setup, papa had warmed up the garage and setup a table for us to carve on. It made for a super easy clean up and plenty of room for all of us. Check out all the mad carving skills!

150 DAYS OF FUN!

Spring through Fall we spent a lot of time at Lagoon. It was awesome having season passports last year and so this year thanks to Papa and B-ma's X-mas presents we are getting them again! Lizzy and Jaxon have already started talking about going to Lagoon when the snow is gone. So thank you Papa and B-ma!

Ultimate STAY-cation DAY 2

Our first stop for our second day was at the Hogle Zoo. I love taking kids to the zoo they get SO excited about everything they see. We saw a really cool bird show where the birds fly right over your head, Lizzy and Jaxon LOVED it! We also got to see a new baby giraffe, and baby tigers too.

We then headed off to the aquarium. This was our first time going here and it was AWESOME! You first walk into a hall that is all dark and there are glowing jellyfish all over the walls swimming around. They have every type of fish you can think of from nemos (the only name Lizzy will accept for this fish) to stingrays. They had an area where you could reach in and pet the manta rays, it scared the kids but Steve and I loved it, it reminded us of our cruise we took to the Bahamas and got to feed, pet and swim with a ton of manta rays (after Panda and I had a little bit of a freak out we had fun those things were HUGE...aaahh good times) . There was also a really cool shark tank, Lizzy and Jaxon stood at this one for awhile because it was awesome to see the shark at the back of the tank and have it slowly swim right at you. If you haven't been to an aquarium like this you should go, they are sweet!

Our last and final stop was at the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point. These are the biggest dinosaur replicas I have ever seen! They had not only the dinosaurs on land but the dinosaurs from the sea also, it was freaky to see how big these things were living in the water and makes you wonder how many more HUGE things like that are still swimming around out there. CREEPY! They had a fun area where there was water running through tons of sand with dinosaurs in the sand so you could create your own rivers and dams. Jaxon LOOOOVVEEDDD it! It took some convincing to move onto the next room which was digging in dry sand to find dinosaur bones. Once he realized this he wasn't so sad about leaving the mud.

Happy Birthday Princess!

Yesterday my baby girl turned 4 years old. Lizzy was born on December 9, 2005, her due date was January 5, 2006.
She weighed 6lbs 6oz and we named her Elizabeth Rae. Lizzy is such an awesome kid. She is happy and full of energy and takes good care of her little brother. Lizzy is smart, fun, creative, beautiful and definitely a daddy's girl. We love having Elizabeth around.
